Singapore Education Specialist & Consultant
Singapore Education is a multi-government agency initiative launched by the Singapore Government in 2003 to establish and promote Singapore as a premier education hub and help international students make an informed decision on studying in Singapore. This initiative is led by the Singapore Economic Development Board and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, SPRING Singapore, International Enterprise Singapore and the Ministry of Education.
Singapore Tourism Board (STB) - Education Services Division describes the key roles that to Promote and market Singapore Education overseas that each agency plays in the arena of Singapore Education.
As the promotion agency for Singapore Education, the Singapore Tourism Board engages in a myriad of promotional activities undertaken by the Education Services Division.
Singapore Education Specialists & Consultant Singapore Education Specialists & Consultant are education counsellors who have undergone a training programme conducted by the Singapore Tourism Board. The programme was designed to enable the counselors to provide accurate and relevant information to international students intending to study in Singapore.

All appointed SE Specialists & Consultants display a "Singapore Education Specialist"  & "Singapore Education Consultant" certificate respectively which is endorsed by the Singapore Tourism Board.

Respond to the needs of the students and institutions promptly. Demonstrate appropriate attributes and abilities to competently service the legitimate needs of international students.
Establish appropriate resources and procedures needed to provide professional support services to international students and institutions.

Be aware of the difference between information, advice and counselling and be able to recommend qualified counselling assistance to students who may benefit from it. Recognise the boundaries of their qualifications and competence, making appropriate referrals when situations fall outside them.

Provide the range of services required by represented institutions to ensure co operative delivery of quality support to international students.

Code of Practice
An education provider using an agent must ensure that anyone who acts on their behalf complies with the CaseTrust for Education. Under the CaseTrust for Education scheme, an education provider can be held accountable for the actions of its agents. The education provider must not accept, or continue to accept, overseas students recruited by an agent, or authorize an agent to recruit overseas students on their behalf, if they know, or reasonably suspect the agent to be engaged in any of the practices stated above that discredits or distort the Singapore Education brand and image
