Since its establishment in 2000, UUPCT has worked in three core areas – education, women empowerment, and health (fight against cancer). Our efforts are centered on enabling access to quality education, affordable cancer care services and increasing opportunities for women to become financially independent.

A Joint venture of Udhavum Ullangal, Chennai, Cancer Institute (WIA), Adyar and Krishna Hospital, Palayamkottai. UU assists the poor cancer patients in treatment and rehabilitation with the help of the Cancer Institute.
Nellai Cancer Hospital is a purely not-for-profit initiative of Udhavum Ullangal. This project is envisioned to be entirely funded by donations from industry/corporate CSR, SME, HNI and generous philanthropists from all walks of life. We need your support for funding the cost of the project
Udhavum Ullangals Skill Development Centre is an initiative that empowers underprivileged women with vocational skills in tailoring, beauty care, and basic computer applications and make them financially independent and self-sufficient.
Quality education can transform a child’s life. Underprivileged children and youth are sometimes deprived of this basic right for various reasons. We provide financial assistance and mentorship support to well-deserving children and youth to bridge this education gap.
Anandha Deepavali is one such initiative that has been successfully conducted for the last 26 years. A well-planned event that starts by bringing underprivileged children from around 20 homes under one roof, providing them with custom-fit clothes and a delicious meal, to entertain them for the whole day.
An empowered woman is at the crux of a country's social and economic development. Our skill development programmes provide women, from marginalized sections of society, with opportunities to become financially independent and lead self-sufficient lives.
